Northeast IN Continuing Education Classes for Insurance Adjusters and Agents

Paul Davis provides continuing education to insurance and other professionals. The property damage restoration industry is complex and ever-changing. It is important to stay current with this industry’s knowledge and trends. The Paul Davis CE program exceeds expectations and standards. Approved instructors are dynamic, enthusiastic, and passionate about course topics. The program has been designed to provide insurance agents and adjusters with up-to-date and relevant information. All continuing education classes are approved for credit according to state rules and guidelines.

Paul Davis provides CE classes to industry professionals like you covering the newest instruments, trends and troubles that face your industry as well as ours. With the help of our knowledgeable instructors of Northeast IN, you can expect an interesting course covering topics such as before and after disasters. Although these continuing education courses are tailored for insurance professionals, repair and real estate specialists will benefit from them as well. All CE classes have approval for credit within state guidelines.

We offer CE classes to insurance professionals all over the nation and Northeast IN for years. The courses we conduct go beyond only licensure. Our trainers teach a wide range courses for credit and non-credit insurance adjusters and agents, as well as homeowners, real estate professionals and other professionals interested in the property damage restoration industry.

Current CE Classes

Paul Davis regularly offers CE classes in our Learning Center (3010 Butler Ridge Pkwy, Fort Wayne, IN 46808) and at locations around Northeast Indiana. CE Classes that we have scheduled include:

SEPTEMBER 28, 2021 – WAITLISTED

    • 9AM-11AM: Hoarding and Insurance Claims (2 credits – available for IN & OH licenses)
    • 11:30AM-12:30PM: Roofing (1 credit – available for IN licenses only)
    • 1PM-4PM: Smoke and Odor Damage Mitigation for Property Losses (3 credits – available for IN& OH licenses)

OCTOBER 26, 2021 – WAITLISTED

    • 9AM-Noon: Fire and Smoke Damage Mitigation (3 credits – available for IN & OH licenses)
    • 12:30-3:30PM: Review Process for Water Mitigation Claims (3 credits – available for IN & OH licenses)

NOVEMBER 4, 2021 – ACCEPTING REGISTRATIONS

    • 9AM-Noon: Homeowners (3 credits – available for IN licenses only)
    • 12:30AM-3:30PM: National Flood Insurance (3 credits – available for IN licenses only)

COVID-19 Precautions

In response to the public health situation related to coronavirus (COVID-19), we are diligently monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and medical professionals to ensure we are taking the necessary precautions to protect our customers’ health and safety. The following protocol will be followed during our CE classes to minimize the risk to your health, and the health of our employees:

  • Please ONLY use the set of doors in front of our building marked “Learning Center.” Doors will be unlocked at 8:30am. If you enter through the main entrance to our office, you will be asked to go outside and enter through the correct entrance.
  • Masks are highly recommended to enter our Learning Center. You may remove them when you are seated at your table and at least 6 feet apart from other participants.
  • Seats are situated to best accommodate for social distancing.
  • We will set out pre-packaged snacks for those who would like one as well as bottled/canned drinks in the fridge available throughout the day for you. Coffee will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own coffee/beverages or snacks.
  • We will provide everyone with a boxed lunch in between classes.
  • Throughout the day, we will disinfect common touch points in the room (bathrooms, door handles, etc).

In-Office CE Classes

If you are a current and active client of Paul Davis of Northeast Indiana, we can schedule a CE class at your office for no cost! We’ll even bring the drinks and snacks, too! We teach up to 3 credit hours total in one day at your office. You can schedule as many days as you wish, but no more than 3 hours in a single day. In accordance with the state requirements, we need a 40-day advance notice to schedule any CE class. In the event of a need to reschedule the CE class, an additional 40 days would be required.

This is a one hour course which covers the importance of immediate response after a fire.  Participants will also be instructed on the different types of fire damage, the categories of smoke residue and the behavior of smoke.  Additionally, the ongoing effects of contamination on contents and structure are discussed.

Wind Mitigation is a one hour CE Seminar meant to help both agents and adjusters understand that residential property insurance providers are to provide “discounts, credits, or other rate differentials, or other appropriate reductions in deductibles” for residential properties where construction methods that have been shown to reduce loss caused by windstorms are employed.
